Our organization believes women thrive on building and sustaining strong connections with one another, some of which assist in forming their futures! In order to help facilitate these bonds, we’re passionate about hosting events that highlight inspirational stories of triumph, encourage meaningful networking, and motivate all that attend to accomplish any and everything they want in life, personally or professionally.
In addition to our empowerment events, & Rise offers a diverse range of services made to help women succeed. The roster includes; financial education, life coaching, professional development, and personal development events as well as free support groups for female abuse or trauma survivors and free counseling to help women move forward in their healing journeys to be that best version of themselves.
MEET THE FOUNDER
JENNIFER RAMIREZ
Founder & Executive Director
Jennifer Ramirez is an entrepreneur, published author, keynote speaker, survivor and thriver. As a single mother who struggled to make ends meet, her hardships became her motivation to have a better life. Making many drastic changes in her life which has since led to great success, she felt compelled to share her own story in hopes that her past mistakes and struggles would help women to make better choices in their lives and empower them to be the best versions of themselves.
In her last year of college, she was working full time, raising her daughter, and creating the &Rise Nonprofit Organization, Jennifer is proof that with the right influence anything is possible. She began putting female empowerment events together in October 2018 and continues to collaborate with different women throughout the United States and beyond.
The understanding of struggles single mothers face on a daily basis is part of her motivation for providing financial assistance to those who aspire to continue their college education as well as helping women who need an extra helping hand. Jennifer is also a sexual abuse survivor which has motivated her to begin support groups where women come together to talk about their trauma, start the healing process, and help other women who may be enduring similar struggles.
